Can you extend the wireless capabilities of Xbox 360? I want to put my Xbox in another room?
I own a TV large plasma and want to hide my Xbox. I want to put in another room or closet. Is there an accessory (or something similar to what the Wii - a system of infra-red, cable or wireless controller is very sensitive) that could allow me to do this?
Xbox 360 wireless controllers operate on a frequency of 2.4 GHz range that can work is actually quite far. Announced 30-foot range, but I was able convert the 360 in operation and another room with ease. (I use Media Center lot) If you put the 360 in a locker room where you are, then I see no problems using the standard controller. It depends on how many walls are between you and the console. But to answer the question, no extension wireless or "amplification" accessories for the 360.
